Description

Dry-docking of three Roll-On/Roll-Off type vessels: the SS Sgt. Matej Kocak, SS PFC Eugene A. Obregon and SS Major Stephen W. Pless. Gross national tons 29,091; 821.04 ft length overall; 105.5 ft beam; maximum height 162 ft 10 in. The work to be performed is best classified under Standard Industrial Code 3731 Ship Repair (Including Overhauls and Conversions) Performed on Non-nuclear Propelled and Non-propelled Ships. The magnitude of this requirement is anticipated to be approximately $16,000,000.00 for all three vessels and will be an unrestricted procurement. The solicitation may result in up to three (3) contract awards. The individual dry-docks are anticipated to commence August 10, 2001(Kocak), October 12,2001(Obregon), and December 14, 2001(Pless). A solicitation with the specification will be available on/about 8 March, 2001.
