Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Supart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. FISC Norfolk Det Phila intends to acquire a 110 Feet of Metal Bar for the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard, Foundry & Propeller Center, Philadelphia, PA. Requirement will be solicited as a commercial item IAW FAR part 12, using the special simplified acquisition procedures as set forth in FAR, part 13.5. The RFQ number is N00140-01-Q-1110. The Naval Foundry & Propeller Center is requesting Item 0001 -- Qty 70 FT BAR 7/12" DIA, NICU Class A, Form 1 Hot Finished IAW QQ-N-281-D (dated Aug 24, 1974) & Amendment 2 (date Oct 23, 1985), Item 0002 -- C of C Qty 2 SE, Certificate of Quality Compliance for Item 0001 Chemical and Physical Properties IAW DD-1423-1 and DD 1664, Item 0003 -- Qty 20 FT BAR 5/8" DIA NICU, Class A, Form 1 or 2, Hot Finished & Stress Relieved or Cold Drawn & Stress Relieved IAW QQ-N-281-D, (dated Aug 24, 1974) & Amendment 2 (dated Oct 23, 1985), Item 0004 -- Qty 2 SE C of C Certificate of Quality Compliance for Item 0003 Chemical and Physical Properties IAW with DD 1423-1 and DD-1664, Item 0005 -- Qty 10 Ft BAR 2 1/2" DIA NICU, Class A, Form 1 or 2, Hot Finished or Cold Drawn & Stress Relieved IAW QQ-N-281-D, (Dated Aug 24, 1974) & Amendment 2 (dated Oct 23, 1985).
