Description

This project consists of roller chopping and anchor chaining on the Harrisville and Tawas Ranger Districts of the Huron-Manistee National Forest in Michigan. The Government will furnish a single drum rolling chopper (approximately 8 tons) and anchor chains (approximately 5,000 pounds). The Contractor shall furnish heavy equipment with a minimum drawbar horesepower of 100 to pull the chopper and chains. There are approximately 421 acres of site prep. There is an optional 160 acres that may be added if funds become available. Project is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns.
