Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) requires the services of contractors to provide medical consultant services for the following specialty: Thoracic Surgery. This procurement will be for commercial item services prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Consultation services shall consist of the contractor's review of SSA Disability Case Files. There will be no contact with patients. Competitive pricing will be solicited and accepted. The period of performance shall be one year from date of the award, with provisions for the inclusion of four on-year option periods. Solicitation number SSA-RFQ-01-0120 shall be available for downloading on the Federal Business Opportunities (Fed Biz Opps/FBO) website on or about March 1, 2001, with quotations being due 25 days later. All parties interested in submitting a quotation should download the solicitation from the EPS web page and provide the contract specialist with their company name, address, contact name, telephone number, and email address.
