Description

THIS PROCUREMENT ACTION IS AUTHORIZED EXCLUSIVELY AS A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT WITH LOCKHEED MARTIN. The Department plans to procure contract services with Lockheed Martin to gain access to the Immigration and Naturalization Service's Alien Status Verfification Index (ASVI). The Department, and HUD authorized agencies, will order queries from the contractor as needed, to verify the immigration status of applicants for certain types of assisted housing. The anticipated period of performance is 05/01/01 to 04/30/02. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302, 6.302-1, and 13.501.
