Description

Subject solicitation is for commercial items and is being processed in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6. It is being issued as an RFP using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) authorized in Subpart 13.5 Testing Program for Certain Commercial Items. Bassett Army Community Hospital, Ft. Wainwright AK intends to establish a firm, fixed-price indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract for Medical Transcription Services. The solicitation number is DADA13-01-R-0004, the NAICS code is 561410 with a size standard of $5,000,000.00. The contract will be established with a base plus four option years, beginning on or about 15 March 2001 through 28 February 2002. The requirement is for an estimated 200,000, 65 character lines annually. This solicitation is 100% small business set-aside. The anticipated release date of the solicitation is 21 February 2001. Anticipated closing date is 09 March 2001, however, this may be adjusted depending on the date of release of the solicitation. The solicitation will have the exact closing date.
