Description

VA Puget Sound will issue an invitation for bids on or about February 12, 2001, for the Tahoma National Cemetery project described below. As authorized by FAR 5.102(a)(7), solicitation dissemination is limited to electronic medium, and no hard copies will be provided by VA. The solicitation, consisting of various bid documents, specifications, forms, and drawings will be available for download at no charge at the VA Business Opportunities System website, http://www.va.gov/oa&mm/busopp/sols.htm. The drawings are in .cal format, and can be viewed after downloading the FastBid viewer at no charge from http://fastbid.goe.to/. Bidders are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all bid documents and any amendments, and should re-visit the VA website periodically to look for any updates. Work will be performed at the Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent Washington and consists of the following: Site preparation, erosion control, and all grading necessary to furnish and install 7 columbaria structures and associated pedestrian paving, irrigation, landscaping, and site furnishings. Completion time for bid item 1 is 360 calendar days, and the NAICC is 233320. The small business size standard is $27.5 million average annual receipts for 3 preceding fiscal years. A pre-bid conference will be held at the Administration Building of the Tahoma National Cemetery on February 27, 2001, at 2:00pm local time. A public bid opening will take place on March 27, 2001 at 2:00pm local time, at VA Puget Sound Health Care System. Further details of all dates and events are available in the solicitation.
