Description

The U.S. Naval Submarine Base New London requires for the Naval Submarine Medical Research Laboratory and the Naval Experimental Diving Unit.under a sole source purchase order with Micropore Incorporated under authority of Far 6.302. To test and evaluate the prototype lithium hydroxide cartridges.The purpose of the testing is to assess the medical performance and effectiveness of the lithium hydroxide embedded rolled polymer matrix cartridge canisters in improving the active and passive carbon dioxide scrubbing capability on U.S. submarines under various environmental conditions.See CBD Note 22
