Description

The Navajo Area Indian Health Service is soliciting proposals from interested physicians to provide professional healthcare services to eligible Native American Indian and Alaskan Native who are Indian Health Service (IHS) eligible beneficiaries. Services to be provided in Contractor's facilities or hospitals where physicians have staff privileges. In accordance with the IHS Payment Policy, IHS will contract only with those provider who will accept, as payment in full, reimbursement at rates no higher than the prevailing Medicare allowable rates (including deductibles and co-payments). Proposals under this solicitation will be considered through December 31, 2001. Anticipated issue date is January 31, 2001. multiple awards will be made for a twelve-month period with two (2) one year option periods
