SERVICES NONPERSONAL: The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL intends to award a purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for Baseball Official services. This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F73SVY01511100 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Quotes are due, preferably in electronic form, by 1pm CST on 16 Feb 2001. Please submit by email to: scott.fustini@maxwell.af.mil . Quotes must be sent with the company_s name, address, business size, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code, DUNS number and Tax ID number. ***In addition, you are required to complete the clause at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications_Commercial Items, when your price is greater than $2,500 and the items are not covered under a Government contract (for example: GSA). The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-2. This solicitation is 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS in accordance with FAR Part 19. The SIC code is 7999, size standard $5.0 million. The contractor shall provide the following: [1.Baseball Official, 1 officials for 40 games, American League Games-Pitching Machine AGE RANGE 2.Baseball Official, 1 officials for 32 games, American League Games-Pitching Machine AGE RANGE 3.Baseball Official, 2 officials for 40 games, American League Games-Pitching Machine AGE RANGE 4.Baseball Official, 2 officials for 32 games, American League Games-Pitching Machine AGE RANGE Pitching Machines are not being requested. 1. Period of the contract will be 1 Oct 00-30 Sep 01. Games will be played on fields indicated on Maxwell and Gunter AFB. Contractor will be fowarded a schedule at the earliest possible date. Should a game be cancelled for any valid reason it may be rescheduled at a later date. Should a game be cancelled, the contractor will be notified a minimum of two hours before the scheduled game time. The government will pay for only games played. Contractor shall submit invoices bi-weekly and shall receive payment in ten working days after receipt of invoice. The contractor must be a sanctioned association recognized by the state of Alabama. The association must conduct rules interpretations clinic for coaches and sports center staff at Maxwell/Gunter to cover current playing rules and by-laws for each major sport.] All terms and conditions set forth in this solicitation are based on commercially accepted standards.
