- NSN: 1615-01-096-5427 The Government has a requirement to inspect, and as appropriate, repair/rework/refurbish Hub Assys, applicable to the UH-60. The quantity is 400 each, plus or minus ten percent. Justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1, Only One Source or Only a Limited Number of Responsible Sources. This is a flight safety part. Only sources who have sucessfully completed required testing will be considered for award. The time required for approval is such that award and delivery cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. See Notes 22 and 23.
