Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation # N00406-01-T-0315 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect throught Federal Acquisition Circular 97.21. Applicable local clauses and provisions available upon request: Inspection and Acceptance (Destination), Proof of Delivery, Traceable Freight, Review of Agency Protests apply. This solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code is 42184, the size standard is 500. CLIN 0001: Quantity 4 each of Kevlar mooring line. 5-3/8" in circumference,625 feet in length with a 6 foot eye splice on each end with chaffing tube. Breaking strain is to be 180,000 pounds. FOB Destination to Tracy, CA 95376. Offerors are requested to quote best delivery date. Responsible offers will be considered by FISC Puget Sound, telephone quotes will not be accepted.
