Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to conduct a full and open competition for the AN/SQQ-89(V) production and design agent contracts, resulting in the award of two contracts to the same vendor in FY02. One RFP will contain requirements for the production of six (6) AN/SQQ-89(V) systems for the forward fit market, plus options; production of ten (10) AN/SQQ-89(V) Systems (including one Engineering Development Model (EDM)) for the back-fit market, plus options; production of four (4) AN/SQQ-89(V) Systems for shore sites; non-recurring engineering effort for design of the above systems; procurement of related support items (INCOs, installation material and special tools and test equipment, OBRPs and data); and an option for life-cycle support. The second RFP will provide for the procurement of system engineering and design agent services. Draft RFPs will be available on the NAVSEA website on or about 28 February 2001. Industry comments on the draft RFPs shall be submitted in writing to the POC within thirty calendar days after the date of release of the draft RFPs. Comments received after that date might not be considered. This website will only the accessible to U.S. DoD Contractors. U.S. DoD Contractor is defined as "Those U.S. contractors currently holding grants or contracts with the Department of Defense, or those contractors declared eligible for DoD information services by a sponsoring DoD activity on the basis of participation in a DoD Potential Contractor Program."
