Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number JFKC01-01-Q-0002 is being issued as an Invitation for Bid. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11. This solicitation is unrestricted. Following is the Schedule that must be submitted. The item details are provided in the following order: line item number, description, quantity, unit. In your bid, please provide a unit price and total cost for each subline item. 0001-ETC Source Four 750-19 deg., 25 each; 0002-ETC Source Four 750-26 deg., 30 each; 0003-ETC Source Four 750-36 deg., 120 each; 0004-ETC Source Four 750-50 deg., 10 each; 0005-ETC Source Four Drop In Iris #2180, 25 each; 0006-ETC Source Four Template Holder #400PHB, 100 each. All ETC fixtures should come complete with (a) two metal color frames (b) Mega C-Clamp (c) clear cover 2 p&g plug installed (d) one Ushio HPL 575w long life bulb (e) one spare bulb (f) one lamp safety cable. 0007-Altman 8" Fresnels 175Q, 14 each; 0008-Altman 8" Fresnels Barn Doors, 14 each. All Altman fixtures should come complete with (a) two metal color frames (b) Mega C-Clamp (c) clear cover 2 p&g plug installed (d) BVT 1000w bulb (e) one spare bulb (f) one lamp safety cable. 0009-Color Extenders for ETC Source Four Lekos, 24 each; 0010-Altman #526/5-9 Rolling Light Stands, 6 each; 0011-Robert Juliat 1011+C Korrigan Follow Spot-110v, hot restrike power supply with (a) one MSR 1200 HR lamp (b) one spare lamp, 2 each; 0012-Robert Juliat GT 4000 Tripod stand, 2 each; 0013-Robert Juliat A4 1200C PSU 110v, 1200w hot restrike for Korrigan follow spot, 1 each; 0014-Robert Juliat M8-black color handle-for iris, 1 each; 0015-Robert Juilat M10-grey color handle-for iris, 1 each; 0016-L&E #65-80 40 lt 4 cir. 8' MR16 strip M16 strip light 8' 4 cir.with 2 p&g clear cover plug, safty, hanging iron, floor trunnen C-Clamp, bulbs, gel frames, spare gel frames and spare bulb for each socket (Bulbs must be GE, Osram-Sylvania or Phillips), 12 each. No substitutions on manufacturers. All items shall be shipped to Loading Dock #1 at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Attn: Production Department, 2700 F Street NW, Washington, DC 20566-0001 by March 23, 2001. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial applies to this acquisition. A completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items shall be returned with the completed Schedule to the following address: The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Attn: Contracting, 2700 F Street NW, Washington, DC 20566-0001 no later than 11:00am on February 28, 2001. Facsimile quotes will be accepted on (202)416-8975, however, quotes which are not transmitted in time to be received by this office at or before 11:00am will be late and will not be considered for award. Bear in mind that there is only one facsimile machine and numerous firms may be submitting quotes. Clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items with clause 52.232-34, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Other than Central Contractor Registration will apply to the resulting contract.
