Description

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is soliciting sources for Environmental Chambers meeting following requirements: capable of running on single phase 110 VAC; can contain sheets up to 35_ X 35_, with at least eight shelves, can establish and maintain conditions varying from 5-6 + /-2 degrees centigrade, and from 20-80 +/-5 percent relative humidity, and can display conditions to 0.1 degree and 1%, continuously, with option to record. Chamber interior material must not react with paper, polymer, or organic vapors. Unit must indicate power failure, and return to set points after power is restored in no less time than the initial established time. Sheets must be visible while undergoing conditioning. Each unit to require no more than six square feet of floor space, and seven feet in height and meet all applicable electrical and safety standards. Cost to include FOB shipping, installation, one year warranty and one year service or support agreement to maintain operability after installation. This acquisition is set-side for small businesses under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 334156, with annual receipts of $5.0 million. All responsible small business sources are requested to submit a written quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on a SF18 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, NAICS/SIC code, business size std, and Duns number. Quotes will be accepted on the first day after publication of the notice and a purchase order will be awarded soon after receipt of quotes. Quotation may be faxed to 202-874-3135; no phone request will be accepted.
