Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Supply Fuel Division located at Patuxent River, MD has a requirement for Aviator's Breathing Oxygen and Nitrogen Technical Type II Liquid. The specifications for the Aviator's Breathing Oxygen are as follows: Aviator's Breathing Oxygen, Type II Liquid, 99.5%, NSN 6830-00-808-9531, Military Specification MIL-0-27210F dated 01 August 1990. The specifications for the Nitrogen are as follows: Nitrogen Technical, Federal Specification # BB-N-441C, Type II Liquid Grade B, 99.5% pure, Class 1, Oil-free, NSN 6830-00-285-4769. This acquisition is being procured in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, as such a SF 1449 shall be issued. The anticipated period of performance is for a base year with four one-year options. The anticipated requirement for the Aviator's Breathing Oxygen is 75,000 gallons per year. The anticipated requirement for Nitrogen Technical is 65,000 gallons per year. The contractor shall deliver the materials at Supply Fuel Division, Bldg. 502, Naval Air Warfare Center, Patuxent River, MD. The Aviator's Breathing Oxygen shall be delivered between 7:30 AM and 3:30 PM local time Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. The Nitrogen shall be delivered between 7:30 AM and 3:30 PM local time Tuesday or Thursday. The government intends to procure this need on requirements firm fixed price basis.
