Description

The Marine Corps Air Station, Beaufort, SC has a requirement for various computer accessories as stated below. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quote M60169-01-Q-J002 applies and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-21 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-17. The standard industrial code 3679 and the business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is for a firm fixed priced contract for the following brand name or equal items: 20 Each, PC133 256MB SDRAMM DIMM; 10 Each, ASUS #CUV4X, ATX Motherboard with Pentium III 866 Processor; 30 Each, 3DFX#V33416-G1 Video Card; 27 Each, Western Digital #WD100EB, 10 GB 54000 RPM IDE Hard Drive; 15 Each, Seagate #ST32430N, SCSI 2.4 GB Hard Drive; 4 Each, XYLAN # 0S-40/24F, Omni Stack 10/100 Switch; 3 Packages, 3 Com 10/100 Base NIC Cards #3C980B-TX-10PK; 3 Each, Multiport V.34+, #MD1604C, Modem Cards; 30 Each, Quantum #QMP 20500AS, 20.5 GB 7200 RPM IDE Hard Drive. Acceptance shall be made at destination. The required delivery date for the above items is 10 days after receipt of order. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offers Commercial Items applies. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this Request for Quotation to the technically acceptable, responsive, responsible offeror based on price alone. Offerors are required to complete and include a copy of the following provisions with their proposals: FAR 52.213-3, Offer Representation and Certification-Commercial Items. Clause 52.214-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies.
