Description

Repair existing joint sealant in all joints and cracks at the fuel berms (facilities; 378, 394, 395, 396, 398, and 399) in the POL yard. Berms are required to contain and prevent fuel from penetrating underlying soil in case of fuel spill. The Contractor is required to install Crafco Roadsaver Silicone Sealant or utilize an equivalent sealing process in all joints and cracks at the fuel berms in the POL yard. The sealant is most likely to come in contact with water whenever it rains and jet fuel whenever a fuel leak occurs. The fuel berms of are concrete construction.
