Description

Solicitation F61521-00-R-5000 for Transient Aircraft Services at Spangdahlem AB and Ramstein AB in Germany is scheduled to be released on 05 MAR 01. Please note that this acquisition is being conducted under OMB Circular No. A-76, Cost Comparison Studies and if at anytime Government performance of this service is determined to be more economical the solicitation will be canceled. Transient Aircraft Services include, but are not limited to, transient alert control, crash recovery, and arrival/processing/departure services. A pre-proposal conference and site visit is scheduled for 15 MAR 01 at Ramstein AB. Attendance is limited to two people per firm. The full names of attendees must be provided in writing to Ms. Lisa Postma at the above address or by email to lisa.postma@ramstein.af.mil no later than 06 MAR 01. At this time, a Firm-Fixed price contract is contemplated for a one-month phase-in period (Oct 01) and an eleven-month basic period plus four one-year option periods. A US Facility Clearance of Secret or host nation equivalent is required. The formal solicitation and all amendments will be issued on the FedBizOps website http://www.eps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation/amendments will not be issued. Proposals are tentatively scheduled to be due on 04 APR 01. Please provide all correspondence in English.
