Description

This acquisition includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all materials, labor, plant, tools, transportation, equipment, services, and incidentals necessary to install/repair/replace miscellaneous type fencing on Randolph AFB, Canyon Lake, Hondo Auxillary Field, and Seguin. The buildings affected by this contract are medical facilities, family housing, and offices. These buildings will be occupied. Work consists of, but is not limited to, installation of new pre-cast reinforced concrete fencing; installation of new steel picket metal gates, complete as directed; removal and installation of selected existing miscellaneous fencing (chain-link, metal fencing); miscellaneous site work associated with the installation of pre-cast reinforced concrete fencing to include but not restricted to excavation, grading, sodding, concrete work including forms; installation of new chain-link fence or metal fencing at selected locations, and installation of new wood fencing at selected locations. The Government intends to award an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract with a basic period of performance of one year and two one-year option periods. Type of pricing arrangement is firm, fixed price. This acquisition will be issued on an 8(a) competitive basis only to those firms within the San Antonio District Office which have the assigned SIC code of 1799 and NAICS Code of 235990. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. The small business size standard is $11.5 million average annual revenue for the previous three years. The magnitude of this proposed project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. All relevant solicitation clarification letters, and other applicable documents will be issued electronically. Interested sources are responsible for frequent review of the EPS website to ensure they are kept current on any amendments, changes or clarifications, etc. Sources are not required to reply to the Contacting Office in response to this synopsis.
