Description

Work consists of furnishing all parts, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, services and supervision necesary to Repair the Air Conditioning Systems in the Wing Headquarters Facility, Plans and Programs Facility, and the Maintenance Squadron Facility, Grissom Air Reserve Base, IN. The work includes, but is not limited to replacing HVAC control panels, sensors, thermostats in Wing HQ, Facility 596; replacing the existing pneumatic control system including control panels, thermostats, temperature sensors, actuators, air compressor, and associated equipment with electric DDC control system in Plans and Programs, Facility 668; and replacement of 7 VAV units, removal of baseboard heaters, replacement of 7 thermostats, and balancing of the system in the Maintenance Squadron, Facility 595. The proposed acquisition is unrestricted. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP), Price Performance Tradeoff (PPTO) solicitation. There will be no public bid opening. Award will be made based upon the Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR, Part 15. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. This proposed acquisition is unrestricted. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror. All responsible offerors must be CCR registeredd to be considered for award. The solicitation will be posted on Electronic Posting System (EPS) on or about 14 March 2001 and can be accessed at www.eps.gov/. The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation package nor planholder list. Telephone, written, Facsimile, or email requests for the solicitation package and planholder list will not be honored. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring the EPS site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. NOTE: The response date cited above does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
