Description

This is a combined synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation. Quotes are solicited with this notice. The quotation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-21. The Television-Audio Support Activity proposes to procure 60 each, Multipurpose Level Controller, Part Number 8200ST for studio production applications. Frequency response: 20hz-20khz: plus/minus 0.25db below leveler, compressor and high-frequency limiter thresholds. RMS noise: 20hz-20khz; less than 100db(103db typical) below 100 percent peak output level, with high frequency limiter strapped for flat output. Interchannel crosstalk: better than minus 74db at 15khz. improving below 15khz. Noise at output: less than minus 75bdu,2-20khz. Gain: 0db, plus/minus 0.5db. Power requirements: 115/230 volts acc plus/minus 10 percent, 50-60hz,16va. IEC standard detachable mins cord. EMI suppressed. Mounting requires 1 unit (1.75 in/4.5 cm) of vertical space in an EIA 19 in rack. Depth is 9.625 inches. One year warranty, parts and labor. Manufacturer: Orban Associates, Inc.. FOB destination to March Air Reserve Base, CA 92518. Delivery requested is 30 Days After Receipt of Order. The Brand name and part number has been identified as meeting or exceeding the Government's minimum requirements but is not established as standards upon which other offered brand named items will be evaluated. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Offeror's proposing to provide other than the requested item shall include specification data sufficient to enable the Government to determine the capability of the offered item to meet the specifications stated above.
