Class: 1A -- Paint system having copper based toxics in the antifouling topcoats. Paint systems for use on metal substrates, except aluminum alloys. Grade: A -- Volatile organic content (VOC) of the antifouling topcoats shall be a maximum of 3.4 pounds per gallon [lb/gal; 400 grams per liter (g/L)]. VOC of all other individual paints in the paint system shall be in accordance with the requirements of Grade B. Application: 1 -- Paint systems having a red color antifouling for underwater hull, with a service life of five years, and; Application: 2 -- Paint systems having a black color antifouling for underwater hull, with a service life of five years. Coat 2 Devoe Bar Rust 235 Low Temp AC (Gray) A shipping pail containing 15.1 Liters (4 gallons) Component A and paint can containing 3.78 Liters (1 gallon) Component B in seperate containers. Both containers shall be provided with a bail type handle in accordance with normal commercial practice. Maximum age on delivery shall not exceed four months.
