Description

DESC: NSN: 1015-01-343-1905,Part Number 12591345. The item to procure is a Lever Assy., Breech Mechanism used on M119A1 Howitzer consisting of welded alloy steel handle with bronze bushings and other metal parts; heavy phosphate coating DOD-P-16232 (Finish series 5.3 of MIL-STD-171). There is a first article requirement, ISO 9003 required. Requirements are 36 each. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is 02 Mar 01. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. The proposed contract will include a 100 percent option. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Prospective offerors are notified in order to receive the TDP, you are required to execute a Non-Disclosure Agreement. The Non-Disclosure Agreement may be requested from the following contract specialist: U.S. Army TACOM-RI, ATTN: AMSTA-LC-CFAA/Terri Maple, Rock Island, IL 61299-7630 via email to maplet@ria.army.mil or by facsimile (309) 782-0048 or 782-2301. Non-Disclosure Agreements will be available prior to issuance of the solicitation and offerors are encouraged to request and complete the above requirement as soon as possible. Notes 1 and 26 apply to this procurement. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicitation has been released to the internet. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY01 requirement. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: http://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list.
