Description

The U. S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) will be negotiating a contract with Teradyne, the developer of the TestMaster Editor and Test Generator software, of Nashua, New Hampshire on a non-competitive basis. A nine-month, firm-fixed-priced contract for evaluation of formal methods for automated model-based testing of embedded weapon system software to support materiel release for the Government's next generation software technology will be issued. Teradyne will provide (i) installation and trouble-shooting of the software, (ii) initial technical training in the use of the software, and then (iii) continued software technical support; and (iv) continued technical instruction to TACOM Next Generation engineers. Estimated release date: 30 March 01. See numbered Notes 22 and 26.
