Description

The Defense Supply Service-Washington, on behalf of the Headquarters, United States Army Materiel Command, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP). The Solicitation number is DASW01-R-0021. The proposed type of contract is Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Firm Fixed Price (FFP). The work to be performed under this contract is to facilitate an orderly and efficient downsizing of the Army and assist in all Real Estate related activities. This contract will provide technical support in many Real Estate areas such as acquisitions, utilization, outgranting real property, space management and all real estate support activities. The contractor shall provide management, analyses, operational, training and environmental program support to include (1) recommendations, policy, procedure and implementation of real estate management programs and systems at various AMC installations and/or other locations within the Federal Government. Contractor shall also provide recommendations on improvements regarding the management of real property under the accountability of AMC, Major Subordinate Commands (MSC) and installations, and (2) mission analytical and/or study support as required. The SIC code is 8744. The expected release date of the RFP is on or about 15 March 2001. The contract will be for a one base and four -option year period. This requirement is a 100% small business set aside. The contract will be awarded to the offeror whose proposal offers the Best Value to the Government.
