Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, John D. Dingell Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, Michigan 48201, intend to negoitate with Lombart Instruments, 5358 Robin Hood Road, Norfolk, VA 23513-2407 for eye examination equipment. The equipment is Lico Wheel Chair Refraction System, Lico Keratometer Refraction sytem, Lico Standard Refraction System and other related equipment. This proposed contract action is for eye clinic equipment, which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. All FAR provisions and clauses maybe reviewed and/or otained from the General Service internet address: http://www.gover/far. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely with the discretion of the governmnet. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses must be submitted no later than March 9, 2001 at 4:00pm. local time to the contracting officer indicated above. See numbered Note 22.
