Description

The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, intends to solicit for purchase of 103 each Sensor, Pressure Transducer. AAI P/N 62828-90110-20 or Setra Systems P/N 470-T, NSN: 6685-01-424-0671, ASN: S100-1A6A1-1. The drawing for these items is considered source controlled. The only approved source of supply known for these items is Setra Systems, Inc., Acton, MA 01720. These items are being purchased for the National Weather Service, to be delivered to the National Logistics Support Center, Kansas City, MO. These items support the Automated Surface & Operation System (ASOS) Electronic Technician (ET) spares kit program. As this part is in support of current the ASOS program, alternative or like items would not be acceptable without extensive testing. The intended procurement is for supplies for which the government intends to acquire under the guidelines of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions. Any small business sources, able to provide the exact make and model of the equipment referenced herein is encouraged to respond to this announcement within 15 calendar days after its publication. Also include the name, telephone number, and point of contact for businesses or other government agencies to which it has previously provided the item. The NAICS code for this action is 33441. This requirement shall be considered a small business set-aside. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the Agency.
