Description

Project consists of mechanical piling of downed residual slash on approximately 250 acres of National Forest land on the McCloud Ranger District, Shasta-Trinity National Forest, Siskiyou County, California. Slash means all debris resulting from timber sale logging, snags and cull trees felled by logging activity and all material on the ground caused by natural conditions and precommercial thinning. No bid opening date has been established but start work date is estimated as June 18, 2001 with 120 days of contract time.
