Description

Requirement to furnish transcription services for the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a commercial item procurement using FAR Parts 12 and 15. Contract period is for four (4) month, June 1, 2001 through September 30, 2001, with two (2) additional 1-year Options to extend by the Government. Service requires 24-hour coverage with capability to transmit completed transcription via computer to the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System within the stated turn-around times. Contractor will transcribe reports according to established format and respect all medical records confidentiality standards. This contract is subject to the Service Contract Act and the place of performance is unknown. Wage determinations have been requested for the state of Pennsylvania and Counties of Belmont, Harrison, Jefferson, and Tuscarawas in Ohio. The contracting officer will request wage determinations for additional localities if asked to do so in writing by February 26, 2001. Solicitation package will be available on/a February 26, 2001. No telephone requests will be honored. Request for Proposals are due by March 26, 2001 at 4:00 PM (COB), local Pittsburgh time. This is a 100% total small business set-aside procurement; NAIC Code 56140 with a size standard of $5.0M applies.
