Description

Provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to furnish and install high efficient, centrifugal type, sand media filters designed for automatic and manual operation, together with all filter media, pumps, piping, valves, fittings, controls, gauges, supports, and appurtenances to provide a complete and workable system to meet the treatment requirements at the Valley City National Fish Hatchery located near Valley City, North Dakota. The filtration system provided shall accommodate variable flow rates. Request for Quotation will be issued on or about March 8, 2001 and will be available for download from the Internet at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Some of the attachments to this RFQ may be AutoCAD drawings. If you do not have AutoCAD, VoloView Express software can be downloaded from Autodesk=s website for free. The URL for the website is: http://www3.autodesk.com/adsk/item/1,,390004-123112,00.html. This software will allow you to view the drawings, however, you will not be able to print the drawings. A paper copy of the drawings will be available from the individual listed above, after the RFQ is issued. For interested firms that do not have access to the Internet, a request for a paper copy of the complete solicitation package may be submitted. Interested firms should submit a request by March 6, 2001 via e-mail, fax, or mail, Attention: Carol Beatty. Phone requests will not be honored. Please reference the quotation number, company name, mailing address, telephone number, and fax number on the request. This acquisition is totally set-aside for small business and firms must provide a product manufactured or produced by a small business concern in the United States, in accordance with FAR 52.219-06. The NAICS code for this requirement is 333319 with a small business size standard of 500 employees.
