Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Gaithersburg, Maryland, has a requirement for steel fabrication. The work involves fabricating and installing the following: (1) A steel structure to reinforce the stage area of the Red Auditorium of Building 101 and (2) Structural steel stairs in Building 227 (NAICS Code is 332312). Period of performance for this requirement is 120 days after receipt of order. This requirement will be awarded as a firm fixed price purchase order. Award will be made on the basis of the best value to the Government with price, technical and past performance factors considered. This solicitation is being conducted as a Commercial acquisition and is being procured using the simplified procedures identified in the Federal Acquisition Regulations Subpart 13.
