Description

The Regional Services Center Budapest, on behalf of the United States [AGENCY FOR INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT] (USAID) Mission in Croatia intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals from U.S firms to provide technical assistance to the Government of Croatia (GOC) in privatization. This Activity will include company preparation for tender sale privatization. It also includes public education to build support for these processes and an investor out-reach activity. The contract is expected to run for 36 months. The RFP, when issued, will provide the final information on the closing date. USAID intends to release the RFP on or about February 28, 2001. Telephone requests for the RFP will not be honored. The preferred method of distribution of USAID procurement information is via the Internet or by request of a solicitation on a 3.5" floppy disk (WordPerfect 5.1/5.2 format). If you require a copy of the solicitation in paper form, you must specifically ask for it, but you will not receive both a copy in paper form and a floppy disk. This CBD notice can be viewed and downloaded using the Agency Web Site. The RFP, once issued, can be downloaded from the Agency web site. The Worldwide Web address is http: www.info.USAID.gov. Select Business and Procurement Opportunities from the home page, then "USAID Procurements." On the following screen, select "Download Available USAID Solicitations". Receipt of this RFP through INTERNET must be confirmed by written notification to the contact person noted above. It is the responsibility of the recipient of this solicitation document to ensure that it has been received from INTERNET in its entirety and USAID bears no responsibility for data errors resulting from transmission or conversion processes. USAID is not obligated to award a contract.
