Description
A Market Survey is being conducted to determine if there are adequate qualified SBA Certified 8(a) firms to set this proposed procurement aside for 8(a) firms. The maximum contract value is $10 million per year for a base year and 4 option years for a total contract value of $50 million, including options. Individual task order limit is $3 million but task orders are estimated to be in the range of $1 million. Projects can be located anywhere in the Louisville District Mission boundaries, which includes the all of the United States and Puerto Rico. Project design will be a small portion of the contract. The work can consist of but not be limited to: building demolition; debris removal; structural repairs; renovations; site work; utility replacements; pavement replacement; channel improvements; landscaping; geotechnical; surveying and mapping services; instrumentation; architectural; furniture (restricted to UNICOR unless a waiver is issued); fencing; and lead and asbestos abatement. All interested SBA certified 8(a) firms should notify this office in writing by mail or by fax by March 6, 2001, 4:00 EST. Responses should include: (1) Identification of company as SBA certified 8(a); (2) firm's experience on similar projects both in scope and cost, including data on performance with phone numbers of references; (3) firm's experience with similar type contracts both in scope and cost, including data on performance with phone numbers of references; (4) firm's experience with design/construction of U.S. Army Reserve projects and the Modular Design System; and (5) evidence of bonding capacity (performance and payment) for an individual project of the task order size.
