Description
71 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number RFQ NFC-1-Q-0010 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The USDA, National Finance Center (NFC) recently enhanced their Network Control Center (NCC) with Americon Casework furniture and electronic equipment. The following additional equipment is needed to complete the enhancement. Procure 80" Quad Display Console, 4 ea., dimensions 5'-10" wide x 8'-6" high x 1'-6" deep. Console shall match existing control system furniture in color (Nevamar Imperial Green Textured S-5-40T/Nevamar Sage Matrix Textured MR-5-3T), composition and appearance. Console shall have adjustable shelving for equipment and manual storage. Console shall include 4 ea. 40" projection cubes, advanced performance liquid crystal displays, hi-gain black glass screens, digital loop-through for analog computer signals, video input module for NTSC, PAL, SECAM, SVGA and standard RGB definition video, internal magnification to spread a single image over multiple displays, screen to screen alignment system, 8,000 hour lamp life, 800 x 600 native resolution, projection cubes not to exceed 16 depth. Console shall contain four Analog interface kits with RGBS, RGBHV, RGsB interchangeability. Bandwidth of 300 MHz or higher. Console interface system shall distribute analog signals from existing 48 x 4 video matrix monitoring systems to quadrants of the display from a distance of fifty feet. Console shall interface "Americon Big Picture" software for addressing digital loop-through for large image expansion. Console shall interface existing security camera system. Console shall be secured to existing wall. Console to be front accessible for all service and repair. Console shall have a fan assisted exhaust system and J-track cable management system. Cabinet shall have 5 " casters for relocation without removal of display system. The provision at FAR 52.212.1, Instructions to Offeror-Commercial applies to this acquisition, 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, provisions of 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items shall be submitted with the offer and clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items and any additional FAR and Agriculture clauses cited applies to this acquisition. Copies of the aforementioned documents can be obtained from http://www.arnet.gov/far responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Interested parties may provide information on their capabilities to provide these items or equivalent. In order to be considered, respondents must submit clear and convincing documentation of their capability within the time specified. The documentation must include descriptive literature with sufficient technical information to satisfy this need by March 5, 2001 at 1:00 p.m., CST local time. The proposed contract listed here is not set aside for small business concerns.
