Description

Full Food Service -- Ft George G. Meade MD. This office is conducting market research of the commercial marketplace to determine what terms and conditions, contract type(s), commercial and performance-based statements of work and other commercial practices are currently being used to provide full food service. We are also seeking information from companies and other federal agencies that are currently receiving or, are planning to acquire similar services in the future. We expect the contractor to provide all management, supervision, labor, personnel, and any other items necessary to perform full food services in one facility at Ft. George G. Meade, MD. Contractor tasks include, but are not limited to, serving and replenishing food items; cleaning facilities, equipment, and utensils; preparing fruits and vegetables for the salad bar; bussing tables in dining areas; performing cashier services; handling foods, supplies, and equipment; maintaining quality control; ensuring operator maintenance and minor/major repair of food service equipment; and in the event of a contingency, performing all required tasks to ensure continued service. We anticipate that if a subsequent solicitation is posted and award made, it will be subject to the Randolph-Sheppard Act. All interested parties must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) at www.ccr2000.com. Interested parties may respond to this notice with a statement of your interest, business size, and past experience. This is not a request for proposal, but for planning purposes only and not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. It does not restrict the Government_s ultimate approach, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. The notice will be posted on or about 21 Feb 01.
