Description

Do not send requests for solicitations to this office. Description of Work: This project will grade approximately one mile of Latham Road, currently an 18 foot wide, unimproved dirt road, and will make general erosion control improvements. The project will include grading and fill (approximately 2,000 cubic yards) of the road and construction of an 8" compacted NC DOT ABC wearing surface; grading drainage ditches and lining with riprap and coconut fiber mat; construction of temporary and permanent sediment basins; construction of 18" diameter storm drain pipe and outlet protections; and seeding and mulching, hydroseeding, and planting of 500 longleaf pine seedlings for erosion control. Network Analysis System will not be required. Estimated cost range of project is from $100,000 to $500,000. THIS SOLICITATION IS RESTRICTED TO SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS $27,500,000 AS DEFINED BY THE SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION. Paper copies of this solicitation will be available. This solicitation will be available on or about 03/09/01 on the internet at: https://ebs.sas.usace.army.mil. Amendments to this solicitation will be posted on the internet at the above address unless the total amended compressed files are greater than 5 MBYTES, in which case a new CD ROM disk will be issued. For amendments that are only posted on the internet, SF 30, Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract, and a list of revised specifications and drawings will be mailed to each bidder.
