Description

This is announcement of a requirement at Letterkenny Army Depot for a commercial item; hydraulic press brake for bending, forming and punching sheet metal and steel plate with all steel construction. The solicitation number is DAAH17-01-T-0020. There is a list of item requirements as an attachment to the solicitation that must be requested from the Point of Contact identified below in order for a complete offer to be submitted. The Standard Industrial Classification is 3542 and the NAICS Code is 333513. The small business size standard is 500 employees. The solicitation is unrestricted based on market research. The requirement is for one each Cincinnati Hydraulic Press Brake, Model 135CBII-6 or equivalent that complies with standards of the Federal Occupational Safety & Health Act of 1970 and the current revision of ANSI B11.3 safety standards for construction. Requirements include, but are not limited to, a highly accurate 135 Ton 8- feet Hydraulic Press Brake capable of bending, forming, and punching sheet metal and steel plate with all steel construction that will maintain part accuracy over the life of the brake. A closed circuit hydraulic system with solid-state microprocessor controls. Adjustable stroke length, full tonnage throughout the stroke and multiple forming speeds to enable quick and efficient processing of a variety of jobs.
