Description

This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for the following: Quick Erect Antenna Mast (QEAM) AB-1386/U, NSN 5985-01-381-6341, DWG No.(80063) A3209788 for a potential quantity of 3,000 units over a five year period, Electrical Mounting Base MT 6967/G, NSN 5975-01-390-5770, DWG No.(80063) A3210000, for a potential quantity of 750 units over a five year period and Electrical Mounting Base MT 6968/G, NSN 5975-01-390-9612, DWG No. (80063) A3209990 for a potential quantity of 300 units over a five year period. The current source for this item is Will-Burt Industries, Orrville, OH. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of these items is available from the Army in the form of Level 3 drawing packages. Suppliers capable of furnishing these items must so indicate by writing to the Commander, CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-COM-C-DT, Fort Monmouth, N.J. 07703-5000. The response must include documentation showing an ability to fabricate and assemble the item components into a final assembly meeting the drawing specifications and performing tests to demonstrate that the mast will perform the same as and be functionally interchangeable with the item from the previous supplier for this NSN. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
