Description
Lackland AFB intends to issue a purchase order to Agilent Technologies, for the acquisition of 32 HybirdPlus _ DD20 Pin Card, 144 nodes,16 independently programmable drivers and receivers, 20MP/s, 20MHZ clocks, 25-250V/us slew, +-10 NS edge placement accuracy, P/N E4002B. The HP 3075/20 ATE was selected by the National Security Agency (NSA) as the dedicated tester for all future Communication Security (COMSEC) requirements and is critical to overall mission support. The current HP3075/20 ATE configuration uses standard single density interface pin cards. The Cryptologic Systems Group (CPSG) is the only COMSEC/INFOSEC authorized repair facility for the Air Force. Current programs supported on the HP 2075/20 ATE include the AN/CYZ-24 Protocol Processor Unit and the KOK-22 Key Processor. The double density cards are required to provide optimum test point capability for the numerous and highly complex electronic components used on the KG-75 circuit cards. Currently, all future updates or changes to the firmware will have to be accomplished by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). All responsible sources who can provide the above requirement at prices, terms and conditions equal to or better than those which can be provided by Agilent Technologies, should submit clear and convincing data in writing substantiating an ability to furnish the entire requirement. All responses to this notice must be received by this office within 5 business days of the date of publication of this synopsis. Any responses should be sent to the following address: 37 CONS/LGCAE, 1655 Selfridge Avenue, Lackland AFB TX 78236-5263. If a response is received that meets the Governments requirement, an analysis of both technical and pricing documentation indicates that a competitive acquisition would be more advantageous to the Government, a formal solicitation may be issued. No solicitation document exists for this requirement. Requests for the same will be considered non-responsive. If no compelling responses are received, award will be made to Agilent Technologies. See Numbered Note 22.
