Description

A -- The U.S. Department of Commerce/International Trade Administra- tion (ITA) Tourism Industries intends to procure on a sole source basis from Statistics Canada, 120 Parkdale Ave., Ottawa, Canada to provide Tourism Industries with the following: 1) The monthly volume of Canadians visiting the U.S. (by mode and length of stay) and quarterly and annual trip characteristics (expenditures, nights, purpose. province or origin and state visited) of Canadian visitors who stay in the U.S. for one or more nights, 2) U.S. tourists entering Canada by transportation mode, 3) Canadian tourists entering the U.S. by transportation mode, 4) Non-US residents travelers entering Canada either directly or via the U.S. by air, land, and sea, 5) Canadian tourists entering countries other than the U.S. directly or via the U.S. by air, sea, and land 6) International travelers between Canada and other countries by mode of transportation, 7) Non-Canadian residents entering Canada by province of entry by mode of transportation. This is a notice of intent. No solicitation document is available. Award will be made under simplified acquisition procedures. 1-A3030vks
