- Description
- The US Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center (RMAC), Aberdeen Proving Ground, is soliciting concepts for innovative research and development projects pertaining to Combating Terrorism. The mission areas are: Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Countermeasures; Investigative Support and Forensics; and Surveillance, Collection and Operations Support. RMAC is the procuring office for this Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for the Combating Terrorism Technology Support Office (CTTSO) Technical Support Working Group (TSWG). The BAA package itself will be available only from the following website, www.bids.tswg.gov. The BAA process constitutes a solicitation of concepts from those offerors capable of satisfying the Government's needs. The Government encourages non-profit organizations, educational institutions, small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, Government laboratories, and HBCU/MI's, foreign contractors, as well as large businesses, to submit research concepts for consideration. The BAA selection process will be conducted in three phases fully described in the BAA package available from the web site. The package will describe the full process for the concept submission and evaluation as well as specific requirements for the mission areas. Potential offerors are encouraged to download the BAA package from the website at a minimum of fifteen days from the published date of the synopsis, anticipated date being 09 March 2001. Request that offeros refrain from calling until that time. Registration in BIDS is required 5 days before the closing date of the requirement for offerors to submit their responses directly in BIDS.
