Description

NOTE: YOU ARE NOTIFIED THAT SOLICITATION NO. DACW43-01-B-0210 REPLACES SOLICITATION NO. DACW43-00-B-0243. The work consists of providing one cutterhead pipeline hydraulic dredge and attendant plant with minimum 20-inch diameter discharge for maintenance dredging. The estimated value of the proposed procurement is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The contract duration will be 360 calender days. Plans and Specifications will be provided by CD-ROM at no cost, or the St. Louis District web page (see below for address), paper copies will not be provided by the Government. Issue date is on/about 15 March 2001; bid opening date is on/about 16 April 2001. Small and Disadvantaged business firms are encouraged to participate as prime contractors or as members of joint ventures with other small businesses. All interested contractors are reminded that the successful contractor will be expected to place subcontracts to the maximum extent practicable with small and disadvantaged businesses. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by this agency.
