Description

Note 22 applies. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Health Level Seven, a not for-profit organization, for support of electronic exchange of healthcare data, both intra and extramural to the Veterans Health Administration. The contract shall be for a base period and two one year options. VA believes that Health Level Seven is the only vendor with the specialized expertise required to provide the level of services required. The anticipated date of award is March 9, 2001. This notice is not a request for offers. All responses from responsible sources will be considered. Responses must include sufficient documentation to allow this office to evaluate the possibility of your firm to submit a valid proposal. The determination to open competition based on responses received is solely within the discretion of VA. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopses will be published. All responses must be submitted in writing within 3 calendar days of publication of this notice.
