Background "PROPOSAL NUMBER: USAFM 01-001 BACKGROUND: Property offered for exchange consists of one North American T-6G-NH aircraft, s/n 49-3368, one North American T-6G-NF aircraft, s/n 50-1279 and one Pratt & Whitney R-1340 AN-1 engine, s/n ZP-102308 owned by the USAF Museum. All property is located at the USAF Museum, Wright-Patterson AFB OH. CLOSING DATE/TIME: 30 April 2001, 1600 Hours All proposals must be received by 1600 hours EST on 30 April 2001. Proposals must be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope as follows: "USAFM 01-001, Due: 30 April 2001 at 1600 hours" Proposals should be submitted on company letterhead and signed by an authorized representative. Proposals must be valid for a six-month period commencing on 30 April 2001. Proposals must be accompanied by a completed DRMS Form 1822, "End Use Certificate". (A copy of this certificate and instructions for completion may be obtained via the internet at http://www.drms.dla.mil/newsales/html/bidding_forms.html or by request from USAFM/MUX Telephonic (including fax) and telegraphic proposals are not acceptable. INSPECTION: The Bidder is invited, urged, and cautioned to inspect the property prior to submitting an exchange bid. Property will be available for inspection at Wright- Patterson AFB OH.
