Description

This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This procurement is for the purchase of the following: ITEM 1: COMPACT GAMMA RAY DETECTOR SYSTEM; 1 EA, PER DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS BELOW: Part number NIGC15185 Intrinsic Germanium Gamma Ray Detector, N-type coaxial crystal, MPS-5.0 multipurpose portable cryostat with 5 L SS dewar, aluminum end cap, beryllium enterance window, 3" diameter end-cap, RG-11 resistive feedback preamp, 15% relative eff. @ 1.333 mev, 1.85kev FWHM resolution @ 1.33 mev, 675EV FWHM resolution @5.9kev, 44:1 peak to compton ratio, 1.90 peak shape ratio, bias cable, signal cable, preamp cable. ITEM 2: STAND-ALONE GAMMA SPECTROSCOPY SYSTEM Part number 8016G System 8016G computer controlled, stand-alone gamma spectroscopy system: 0 to +/-5 KV bias supply, pulse processing amplifier with 2, 4, 8 microsecond shaping times, 8.12 microsecond successive approx. ADC, 16,000 channel spectrum memory, ethernet 10/100 base-t and RS-232 interfaces quantum-mca software.
