Description

17. The Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCC) is seeking prospective sources to provide various items classified as Hazardous Material in accordance with Federal Standard 313 (reference Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 23.3), provide Inventory Control of those items and their associated Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and provide Disposal of those items. The required items include, but are not limited to adhesives, potting compounds, paints, detergents, and chemicals. Some of the applicable Federal Supply Codes are 3439, 5330, 5610 5970, 6810, 6850, 7930, 8010, 8030, 8040. The Government requires Direct Delivery to individual buildings at NSWCC. Sources are encouraged to provide a web site address. If available, sources will provide literature addressing their products, a description of their firm, information about their experience in providing Hazardous Material, and information addressing the standard commercial business practices for these types of items. Each response should include technical and contractual points of contact, the size of the business and whether it is a dealer or manufacturer of the item. This request in no way implies either implicitly or explicitly that respondents will be compensated in any way by the Government for information. The Navy's intent is to issue a competitive commercial solicitation, resulting in the award of an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract(s). All information becomes U.S. Navy property and will not be returned. Vendors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit within the next 90 days.
