- Description
- The Government intends to award on a sole source basis to General Dynamics of St Petersburg, Florida using the current 20mm Phalanx system as a baseline, determine the requirements for a guided projectile to engage and defeat incoming anti-ship missiles. The study will parametrically assess the required lethal payload mass and accuracy required. It will investigate both air-burst and hit to kill lethal payloads. The study will provide baseline requirements for RADAR seeker and control system designs. Note 22 and 26 apply.
