Description

The Defense Distribution Center intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with Advance Tech Computer Systems Inc, Mechanicsburg, PA for the purchase of 61 each custom slim PCs. The following specifications represent the Government's minimum requirements. The case cannot exceed the dimensions listed below. Specifications: Case -- Mini Case 12"x12"x3.5", Motherboard -- Intel Pentium III w/133 Mhz w/Intel 810e chipset, CPU -- Intel Celeron 666, Ram -- 128 MB PC 100 SD Ram, Hard Drive -- 10 gb Hard Drive, CD Rom -- 5.25" slim CD-Rom, Floppy Drive -- 3.5" slim 1.44 MB, Microsoft mouse, Keytronics PS/2 keyboard, Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 w/service pack 6A, Network Card -- Integrated PCI-based 10/100 Mbps Ethernet, Ports -- 2 serial, 1 parallel, 2 PS/2, 1 VGA, Dual USB, Audio 1 RJ45 LAN, 20 D-sub Panel Link. The Government requires delivery of these units within 14 calendar days after receipt of a purchase order. The units will be shipped to various Defense Distribution Center depots located throughout the continental United States. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. No formal solicitation document exists. However, all information received within fifteen (15) days after publication of this synopsis will be considered by this agency. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed purchase order based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
