Description

U -- The US Army War College is soliciting proposals for Facilitating, Leadership and Group Skills (FLAGS) and Design Skills workshops at Carlisle Barracks PA. The target audience of these workshops is the spouses of AWC resident students. The FLAGS workshops dovetail into the larger Military Family Program, which prepares the Army's future leader and his family for senior command positions. The contractor's designed FLAGS program must use well established commercially available tools. FLAGS is delivered to a small group of potential trainer spouses, then these trainers are taught how to present a program of their own design, then the contractor will supervise the delivery of each trainees program to other spouses. All workshops run for 5 continuous days for five hours a day. The Military Family Program coordinator will provide most recruitment and coordination, however attendance at some formal recruitment functions and planning meetings is required. The period of performance is intermittent during Academic Year 02 (August 2001 -- May 2002, with an option for AY03. This Acquisition is 100% set aside for Small Business and best value source selection decision rules will be used. Acquisition packets are only available by return e-mail.
